How to cook duck with figs and sauce

We wash the duck, singe it from feathers and put it in a tray, lay out coarsely chopped onions, carrots and garlic next to it. Pour olive oil, grease the duck with honey and pour white wine. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover the tray with foil and bake at 150 degrees 2.5 hours. We evaporate the port in half, add sugar, butter and boil over low heat until the sauce consistency is about 10-15 minutes. Cut the apples into slices, cut the core and lightly fry in olive oil. We spread the duck on the parchment, around it apples and sliced ​​figs. Pour over the porto sauce and bake again at 220 degrees for 5 minutes until crisp. When serving, decorate with rosemary.
