Pork with apples

Very simple and at the same time very tasty dish. A classic and very useful side dish for pork – sauerkraut or stewed white cabbage.

Ingredients

Pork meat (natural cutlet on the bone) – 4 pieces
Large red apple – 4 pieces
Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
Apple cider or dry white wine – 180 milliliters
Grated ginger – 1 teaspoon
Young spinach – 1 bunch
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

How to cook – Pork with apples

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Peel the apples, cut into thin slices.
Put apples in a deep baking sheet, sprinkle with chopped sage, pour 1 tbsp. l olive oil, mix, bake for 10 minutes.
Heat the remaining oil in a pan. Season the pork with salt and pepper and fry in a pan over high heat, 2-3 minutes on each side.
Transfer the fried meat on a baking sheet to apples, bake everything together for another 5-6 minutes.
Make the sauce. Add cider or wine and ginger to the same pan; if desired, add 1 teaspoon of red balsamic vinegar, bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
Serve pork with apples, spinach and sauce.
