Lasagna recipe classic

The classic way of cooking world-famous Italian dishes – lasagna. If you want to cook lasagna according to the classic recipe, then the main thing to remember: traditional lasagna is special sheets for lasagna, minced meat and Bechamel sauce. It is about the classic version of the preparation of lasagna that we will tell in this recipe.

The main ingredients:
minced meat, lasagna, cheese, garlic, carrots


500 gr minced meat

400 ml of meat / vegetable / chicken broth

300 g lasagna sheets

200 gr semi-hard cheese

40 ml dry vermouth

2 cloves of garlic

1 carrot and onion

5 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp tomato paste or tomato in its own juice

black pepper, salt

Bechamel sauce

500 ml of milk

100 g butter

2 tbsp flour

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

How to make classic lasagna

For Bechamel sauce, melt butter in a small saucepan, add flour, stirring, fry it, then add milk, salt and heat the sauce, stirring, allowing it to thicken.

Season the prepared sauce with nutmeg, mix and cover with a lid or cling film so that it does not crust.

Grind and fry onions with garlic in olive oil, add carrots grated on a coarse grater, fry together for another 7-10 minutes, add minced meat, fry 3-5 minutes, add vermouth or red wine, mix, evaporate alcohol.

Add tomatoes in your own juice or tomato paste to the minced meat with vegetables, pour in the broth, salt and season with herbs, mix and simmer for 25 minutes.

Remove cooked stew from heat, let cool slightly.

Rub the cheese on a coarse grater, put in a baking dish 2-3 tbsp. sauce and level it on the bottom of the form, lay on top a few sheets of lasagna – how much will fit so that the bottom is completely covered by them.

On the first layer of sheets of lasagna put 2 soup ladles of minced meat with vegetables, on top – a little Bechamel sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese, cover with the next layer of sheets of lasagna, again pour minced meat with vegetables, Bechamel sauce, sprinkle with cheese and until the food runs out.

Cover the last layer of lasagna sheets only with Bechamel sauce and grated cheese, put the lasagna to cook in an oven heated to 200 degrees for 40 minutes.

Remove the prepared lasagna from the oven and serve immediately or 1 hour after cooking – it will be easier to cut into portions.
