Baked mussels with mozzarella cheese and garlic a delicious and light dinner option for your family.
Mussels – 1 kg
Olive oil – 50 grams
Hard cheese – mozzarella – 200 grams
Salt, pepper to taste
How to cook baked mussels
Pour a little water at the bottom of the pan so that it covers the bottom by 1-1.5 cm. Add a clove of crushed garlic and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Let this mixture boil and add the prepared mussels. Slightly add salt, mix and turn off the heat after 5 minutes. Then discard the mussels.
Mix in the desired proportions mayonnaise, ketchup, squeezed garlic, lemon juice and finely chopped greens. Put mussels on a baking sheet, grease each mussel with sauce and put in a preheated oven for 7-10 minutes. While they are baking, grate cheese on a fine grater, sprinkle mussels on top. Put in the oven for another 3-5 minutes to melt the cheese. Sprinkle hot mussels with cheese with chopped herbs – parsley and dill.
Serve with crispy white bread and wine.
