The vibrant colors of Rio, the recent Olympics and architecture of Lina Bo Bardi, the “stars” of Brazilian minimalism, became the starting points for the Max Mara spring-summer 2017 collection. The palm forest that Lina Bo Bardi “let in” into her famous “Glass House”, brand designer Ian Griffiths turned into tropical prints, which became the “chip” of this collection. They flaunted sports bomber jackets, overalls, dresses, and shirts – in a word, almost everywhere! For a sports theme, “hooded” jackets, olympic jackets, leggings and body suits. Well, bright saturated colors reminded the capital of carnivals: yellow, electric, orange, green and lilac.
