Lightness and charm, cheerful colors and self-confidence, almost complete disregard for fashion trends and the boundaries of the seasons – such was the new Michael Kors spring-summer 2017 collection. While most brands “calmed down” after playing enough in the 70s, Michael Kors decided turn again to the fashion of that era. And on the catwalk appeared floral prints, vibrant colors and simple shapes. Long skirts and long jackets, Bermuda pants and culottes, trench coats and striped shirts, flying flared skirts and a “pencil” with a slit to the hip, dresses with basques and sleeves-lanterns on blouses that emphasize the waist with leather straps and platform sandals – most of these things from the catwalk went straight to the brand’s boutiques.
